Recycling at home
You fill the bag. That is the entire job.
No separating at the sink, no monthly fee, and no waiting for your body corporate to organise it. We drop the bags, collect on your day, and separate everything ourselves.
Three ways in, and we will tell you which one you get.
A collection round only works when enough homes on it are recycling. Estates already have that density. Suburbs build it. Drop-off needs none at all.
Estates and complexes
The one we can always say yes to. Every unit gets bags, a cage goes in at the refuse area, and we collect on a schedule agreed with the body corporate.
- Bags supplied free to every unit
- Cage placed at the refuse area
- Collection scheduled with management
- Volumes reported back to the trustees
No cost to residents. Density is what makes a round work, which is why this is the option we can offer anywhere we operate.
Suburb collection rounds
For standalone homes. We run a fixed day per suburb, so one truck serves a whole neighbourhood rather than driving across town for a single bag.
- Bags dropped at your gate to start
- One collection day for the whole suburb
- Put the bag out the night before
- New rounds open as sign-ups build
Free once a round is running. If your suburb is not on one yet, add your address and we will tell you honestly how close it is.
Drop-off and buy-back
Bring it to us. Our Mamelodi centres take material over the counter, and for regular volumes you are paid by mass rather than just handing it over.
- No appointment, no minimum
- Paid by mass on qualifying material
- Good for garage clear-outs and bulk
- Open to collectors and small traders
You are paid for volume. Available now, wherever you live, because you come to us rather than us to you.
We would rather explain that than promise a service we cannot run on time.
What goes in the bag
All of it together. We do the sorting, so you do not need three bins in a kitchen that has room for one.
Please keep out
Food and garden waste, nappies, medical waste, batteries, globes, paint and chemicals. One of those in a bag can send the whole load to landfill.
- Rinse it, roughly. A quick swill is enough. Food residue is what spoils a load for everyone on the round.
- Flatten boxes. A flattened box is worth the same and takes a fraction of the space.
- Keep it dry. Wet paper is downgraded or rejected, so the bag is better inside until collection morning.
How a household round runs
Four steps, then it repeats. Nothing to install, nothing to sign for months.
- 1
Tell us where you are
Your suburb, or the name of your estate. We come back within a working day and tell you which of the three options fits.
- 2
Bags arrive
Dropped at your gate, or handed to your body corporate for distribution to every unit. No charge, and no deposit.
- 3
Fill and put out
One bag, mixed. Out the night before your collection day, or into the cage at the estate refuse area whenever it suits.
- 4
We collect and sort
The bag comes to our Pretoria sorting site, is separated by stream and sent on to reclaimers. Estates get the volumes reported back.

This was somebody's kitchen bin
Every bottle here came from a household that put a bag out instead of a black bag.
Start with your address
Tell us your suburb or estate and we will tell you which option is available to you, honestly, within a working day.
